4 Days Lake Mburo – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Itinerary

Transfer from Kampala through the Masaka -Mbarara route and have a brief stopover at the
equator in Masaka. Arrive at Lake Mburo national park in time for lunch; you will go for an evening
boat ride along the eastern banks of L. Mburo as you view birds, crocodiles and hippos against the
sun setting. Dinner and Over night at Eagles nest (Budget ) Mantana tented camp (mid range
)Mihingo lodge (luxury)

After an early warm up tea you will go for an early morning game drive where you will be able to
encounter Burchell zebras, impala, elands, buffalos, hyenas and if you’re lucky you will spot a
leopard. After the Game drive head back to your accommodation and relax around as you wait for
lunch. After lunch you will check out of the lodge and head to Queen Elizabeth national park. Dinner
and over night at Simba safari camp (budget ) Ihamba lakeside safari (mid range ) Mweya
safari lodge(luxury).

After an early morning warm up tea or coffee at 6:30am, you will be transferred for a game drive
along Kasenyi tracks and Queens mile in search of animals like: lions, elephants, cape buffalos,
warthogs, spotted hyenas, mangoose, waterbucks, kobs and, if lucky, the leopard, and over 606 bird
species recorded here, this will see you return for a full breakfast, relax into the lunch break. After
lunch, you will be transferred to enjoy a unique two hours boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This
launch cruise gives you a great opportunity for photography, bird watching and game viewing at
close range. Return for an easy evening, dinner and overnight at Simba safari camp (budget )
Ihamba lakeside safari (mid range ) Mweya safari lodge(luxury).

After breakfast, transfer back to Kampala with your parked lunch via Fort Portal Mityana road as
you enjoy great views of fabled Rwenzori Mountains with an opportunity to visit the Tooro
kingdom palace for a cultural brief; proceed to visit Amabere ga Nyinamwuiru a famous cultural
site attached to the Tooro kingdom where we will have our pick nick lunch. If time allows you may
also visit the crater lakes before transferring back to Kampala.
